Coit Tower

A statue of Columbus in front of the Coit Tower.

One of the murals. They were painted during the Depression under the Works Progress Administration. The man picking the orange is a project leader, the rest are his assistants.

Another mural, this one not so happy. Note in the foreground a man is being robbed at gunpoint, while in the background there are wrecked cars.

Taking a tour with the SF library will allow you to visit the apartments. A period painting.

Coit tower sits on a hill where you can take excellent night pictures.
