There is a law that says that no state capital have a dome larger than the United States capital in Washington, DC. But that law didn't apply to cities. Guess who has a larger dome than the US capital?
See, this guy Rolph did some naughty things. He wanted money to carve his name in city hall forever, but the budget committee didn't like the idea. So the supervisors came back from the weekend to see this. They decided to let the matter drop; Rolph was governor now and they didn't want to offend him.
