Photos of Sanssouci Caslte.The castles at Potsdam have world heritage status. This castle was built by Frederick the Great, who wanted a place away from Berlin with an "english" garden. It, and the other castles in Potsdam make an excellent day trip from Berlin. It was originally just a tool shed. It is small, but it has twelve staterooms designed by Italien Architects that are magnigicient. Sadly, they don't allow photography inside.
